About Us
Five names.
One word — UDAAN.
Udaan Legal is built by a core team of advocates trained at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, and shaped by direct experience under some of India's leading Senior Advocates. That foundation carries through in how we work — rigorous research, precise drafting, and a modern, tech-enabled approach to litigation and corporate advisory across Bihar.
Our Story
Udaan Legal was forged with a vision to streamline elite counsel across the state of Bihar. By fusing deep structural knowledge of local land, debt, and real estate tribunals with high-caliber defensive litigation practices, we have grown into a multi-jurisdictional desk. We bridge the gap between traditional litigation and forward-thinking legal remedies, remaining relentlessly focused on achieving operational victories for our clients.
The people behind every matter we take on
Utkarsh adds a sharp, transaction-oriented dimension to the firm, holding specialised certifications from NLSIU Bengaluru (Contracts, Tendering & Public Procurement), NLIU Bhopal (Competition Law), and IIT Kharagpur (New Labour Codes; Entrepreneurship & IP Strategy). He trained under Senior Advocate Shri Vivek Tankha in New Delhi and under Advocate-on-Record Abhishek Kumar at the Patna High Court, and has spent years leading IDIA's regional mentorship drives for underprivileged students seeking legal education.
Divyanshu spearheads the firm's strategic research operations, working at the intersection of media narratives, digital ecosystems, and litigation strategy — converting adverse-narrative tracking into concrete evidentiary and expert-witness inputs. He interned with Khaitan & Co., Agarwal Law Associates, UKCA and Partners LLP, and the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, and previously served as a Student Researcher at CNLU's Child Rights Centre and Deputy Team Leader for Training & Mentorship with IDIA.
Anmol represents individual litigants and enterprises — including Bata India Limited and Bajaj Auto Limited — before the Patna High Court, District Courts, DRT, and RERA. Early in his practice he secured a reported judgment, Rajnish Kumar v. State of Bihar (2026 (2) BLJ 758). His foundation was built as a paralegal at Karanjawala & Co., assisting Supreme Court Senior Advocate Mr. Amit Sibal on the Patna Metro Rail Depot land acquisition matter, among other senior counsel mandates.
Aryan's litigation portfolio centres on high-stakes constitutional writs, civil revisions, and appellate advocacy before the Patna High Court. He also drafts multi-party commercial agreements and compliance frameworks for regional startups and institutional clients, and manages trial court strategy across civil courts, consumer forums, and labour departments — pairing structural legal mastery with a swift, tech-forward approach.
Nilesh brings a research-driven regulatory and compliance mindset to the firm's core practice, at the intersection of business frameworks, corporate governance, and civil rights enforcement. He crafts public-interest filings and writ petitions on human rights and welfare regulations, audits business layouts for statutory compliance, and represents clients across consumer dispute forums and debt collection frameworks.
